Aims

The Marketing and Strategy Section undertakes and publishes innovative and original research on the formulation and implementation of effective market strategies at domestic and international levels. The Section will continue to produce contributions, useful to business practitioners, public policy makers and researchers in a wide range of fields.

Research Themes

The Marketing and Strategy Section is one of the most established in its subject area in Europe with an enviable research track record, as evidenced by its publication rate in high-ranking journals, the award of many academic prizes and by its reputation. This is further manifested in invitations to many of its members to speak at prestigious events, to join editorial boards, review ESRC submissions and to sit on national and international committees and panels.

Our Section members have received several research awards and serve as editors, guest editors or on the editorial boards on a wide variety of leading academic journals dedicated to publishing important new insights in marketing and strategy research. By doing so, our members provide thought leadership for the global community of scholars.
