Lexington Corporate Advisors has partnered with Cardiff Business School and Cardiff University to offer internships to students striving to make an impact in the corporate finance world.

As part of the initiative, the firm, which was set up by Gary Partridge and Nigel Greenaway at the start of the year, has taken on Alexandra Ross as a Corporate Finance Research Analyst.

China visit for Deputy Dean

Professor Mohamed Naim, Deputy Dean of Cardiff Business School, has recently returned from a three-day visit to China.

During his visit Professor Naim met with senior staff members of Xiamen University’s School of Management, Beijing Institute of Technology Zhuhai (BITZH) and Beijing Normal University Zhuhai (BNUZ).

Cardiff Business School’s Admissions Team has won the Professional Services Team of the Year award at the annual Cardiff University Celebrating Excellence awards.

The 2016 Celebrating Excellence awards were held on Thursday 17 November in the Great Hall of the Students’ Union, and were hosted by Jayne Dowden, Cardiff University’s Chief Operating Officer.

Trading Room tech partnership extended

Cardiff Business School has extended its partnership with Market Squared, which provides online educational trading applications.

The School’s Trading Room has long used Market Squared’s Volcube platform across all of its terminals and the new deal ensures the technology will continue to be used in to the future.
