Michael Poole

The School is very sorry to report the death of Michael Poole, Professor Emeritus. Michael died in Cardiff on Saturday 25th August as a result of complications following surgery

The School would like to convey its sympathy to Michael's wife, Elaine, and to his family. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.

Michael's funeral will take place at Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff at 12.30 on Tuesday 4th September.

Study tour from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University welcomed by Cardiff Business School

The Logistics and Operations Management section hosted students from Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s Global Supply Chain Management programme as part of their study tour in UK.

The study tour of 40 undergraduate students and two of their academic leads, Dr Anthony Pang and Dr Kelvin Pang, was managed and coordinated by Dr Irina Harris.

Re-inventing the Civic University

Professor John Goddard OBE, presented a seminar on the re-invention of the Civic University in Cardiff on Tuesday 19 July 2016.

The seminar was hosted by Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University’s School of Geography and Planning and SPARK (the Social Science Research Park) and held at the Business School’s Postgraduate Teaching Centre.
