Postgraduate Teaching Centre shortlisted for prestigious construction awards

Cardiff Business School’s Postgraduate Teaching Centre, and contractor ISG Construction, have been shortlisted for two prizes at the Constructing Excellence in Wales (CEW) Awards 2015.

The new building, opened in September 2014, is shortlisted for the Health & Safety Award and for Project of the Year. Winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner on Friday June 12th 2015.

Zhao Xinyu, MSc Human Resource Management alumnus (2004), has been named the winner of the British Council Entrepreneurial Award at the inaugural Education UK Alumni Awards for China.

Launched by the British Council, the Education UK Alumni Awards honour the achievements of UK alumni all over the world.

Cardiff Business School ranked 6th in the UK

Cardiff Business School has been ranked 6th in the UK for the quality of its research in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF). Only Oxbridge and London schools were placed higher among more than 100 business schools in the UK.
