The careers service offered to Cardiff graduates is a lifelong resource, so they can seek guidance by phone or email years after graduation.
Mandy Jones is Cardiff Business School's onsite careers consultant, available for one-to-one career consultation via an online appointment booking system.
Students have the opportunity to attend occupational talks, employer presentations and skills workshops on a range of subjects including CV writing, interview skills and aptitude testing. The popular "Insight into Management" course is held over a full day and provides an overview of key management competencies.
Students regularly take advantage of the work experience programmes organised by the Careers Service through the Go Wales Programme working across Welsh universities. Opportunities range from 10 week paid student and graduate placements to shorter informal work tasters.
Cardiff University has a number of local and national employers from all industries who are keen to recruit Cardiff graduates. These include PwC, Accenture, Bank of England, Merrill Lynch, KPMG, Deloitte, Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young, Ford and Rolls Royce.
