Scholarships

Two scholarships are available for students on the Executive MBA programme.

To be eligible for these scholarships, a student must have firmly accepted their offer from Cardiff Business School by 15th July 2013, and must be self-funding: students whose fees are fully paid by a sponsor such as an employer or government are not eligible. Students who are partially sponsored and partially self-funding are eligible, provided that they are paying their own fees equal to at least the amount of the scholarship.

The Cardiff Business School Scholarship will take the form of a £4,000 reduction in fee for the Executive MBA programme. The Professor Richard Whipp Scholarship will take the form of a £4,100 reduction in fee for the Executive MBA programme.

The Professor Richard Whipp Scholarship

Eligibility

This scholarship, awarded in memory of Professor Richard Whipp, will be awarded to a student who is a manager in the public sector.

Application

Students wishing to apply for the scholarship should submit an essay (maximum 1500 words) on "Current Management Challenges in the UK Public Sector", with a covering e-mail, explaining how the scholarship will help them to pursue the MBA (part-time), to Dr Kevin Stagg by the deadline of 31st August 2013.

Cardiff Business School Scholarship

Eligibility

This scholarship will be awarded to a student who is a manager within the private sector.

Application

Students wishing to apply for the scholarship should submit an essay (maximum 1500 words) on "Describe and critically evaluate how you have made a difference in the work place" with a covering e-mail, explaining how the scholarship will help them to pursue the MBA (part-time), to Dr Kevin Stagg by the deadline of 31st August 2013.
