Research interests

PhD. investigated certain integro-differential inequalities (using Hilbert space theory - not looked at any more - more's the pity).

Dempster-Shafer theory - development and application of DS/AHP and CaRBS techniques.

Variable Precision Rough Set Theory - development and application of VPRS software (with Ben Griffiths Phd student) and other RST techniques.

Fuzzy Set Theory - development of fuzzy techniques (fuzzy decision trees, fuzzy input-output, fuzzy ranking etc.theory (DS/AHP and CaRBS).

Developmental inclusion of the use of traditional techniques like, Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithms, Simulated Annealing, Tabu Search, PROMETHEE, Analytic Hierarchy Process, etc.
