Rhys' research interests focus on strategic management, social capital and public service performance. He has published widely in refereed journals including: Human Relations, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory and Public Administration Review. He is also co-author of Strategic Management and Public Service Performance (Palgrave, 2011) and Public Service Efficiency: Reframing the Debate (Routledge, 2013).
