Biography

Rhys’ research interests focus on organizational environments, social capital and public service performance. He has published in several refereed journals including: Human Relations, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Public Administration Review, Regional Studies and Urban Studies. He is also co-author of Strategic Management and Public Service Performance (Palgrave, 2011).

Teaching profile

Rhys teaches on Managing Public Services, a Year 2 Business Management optional undergraduate module and supervises doctoral work in public management.

Research interests

2011-2014 - Coordinating for Cohesion in the Public Sector of the Future coordinated by Erasmus University, funded through the European Commission Framework 7 programme.
