Dr Jianxin Geng
Professor and Deputy Dean, School of Business, Renmin University of China, visted the Unit in 2002 as a British Academy K. C. Wong Fellow. During his visit, he published with Dr Jason Xiao a paper in the International Journal of Accounting, Vol. 34, No. 4, 2002.

Mr Henry He Yang
PhD student at Renmin University of China, visted the Unit in 2002 as a research associate. He co-authored two papers with Prof. Jason Xiao on Internet-based corporate reporting in China and the demand for audit quality in China. The first was resented at the 2003 American Accounting Association (AAA) Annual Conference in Hawaii, USA and published in the Journal of Accounting and Public Policy in Vol. 23, No. 3, 2004. The second paper was presented at the 2004 AAA Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Dr Biqiong Zhang
Professor at Central University of Finance and Economics, visited the Unit in 2000/2001 as an EU-China Higher Education Co-operation Programme Fellow. Her visit led to an English publication with Professor Laurence Copeland in the Journal of Chinese Economics and Business Studies (2003).

Ms Yumei Li
Lecturer at Suzhou University, visited the Unit as a visiting scholar sponsored by the Chinese government in 2000/2001.

Dr Juqiu Deng
Lecturer at Sichuan University, visited the Unit as an EU-China Higher Education Co-operation Programme Fellow in 2000/2001. During her visit, she published a paper in Journal of Beijing Technology and Business University (2001).

Dr Manli Sun
Lecturer in Accounting at Renmin University of China, visited the Unit in 2000/2001 as a visiting scholar sponsored by the Chinese Government. Her visit led to two publications in Accounting Research (2001) and Auditing Research (2002). She also co-authored and published a paper on accounting regulation in China with Prof. Jason Xiao and Prof. Pauline Weetman in Abacus, Vol. 40, No. 2, 2004.

Dr Jane Xiujun Gu
Head of Financial Inspection Department, the Beijing Office of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, visited the Unit in 1999/2000 as a visiting scholar sponsored by the Chinese Government.

Dr Rose Rong Xu
Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Fudan University, visited the Unit in 1999/2000 as an EU-China Higher Education Co-operation Programme Fellow.

Dr Peiyong Gao
Professor of Finance, Deputy Director, Institute for Fiscal and Financial Economics Research, China Academy of Social Sciences, visited the Unit in 2000 as an EU-China Higher Education Co-operation Programme Fellow. During his visit, Professor Gao published a paper in Asia-Pacific Journal of Taxation in 2000.

Dr Harrison Huacheng Wang
Professor and Deputy Dean, School of Business, Renmin University of China, visited the Unit in 1999/2000 as an EU-China Higher Education Co-operation Programme Fellow.

Dr Sean Zhihua Xie
Professor and Vice President of Beijing Technology and Business University, worked at the Unit in 1999/2000 as a Leverhulme Trust Visiting Fellow. His visit led to several publucations with Dr Jason Xiao, including "The Making of Independent Auditing Standards in China" published in an American Accounting Association quarterly journal Accounting Horizons, Vol. 14, No. 1, 2000 and "Public Disclosure Versus Private Disclosure: Inside Information Control in China", Accounting Research, No. 10, 2000, Reprinted in Xinhua Digest No, 2, 2001 that is one of the most influential journals in China.
