CAIR personnel make a valuable contribution to teaching in the Business School via the MSc in International Transport, MBA, as well as supervision of MBA and MSc dissertations and PhD students. CAIR has for many years been involved in teaching. CAIR members were responsible for a modular automotive MBA in the 1990s and the International Automotive Industry Management elective offered as part of Cardiff Business School's popular MBA until 2008. Many former MBA students from these courses are now CAIR alumni working in the automotive sectors of a number of countries around the world, among them UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, India, Malaysia, Japan and China.
From 2009, CAIR runs the MBA elective International Sustainable Business as part of the new MBA and is also involved in teaching the International Transport & Sustainable Business module of the MSc in International Transport.
In cooperation with the School of Journalism, CAIR is responsible for their Postgraduate Diploma in Motoring Journalism. This unique course which enjoys endorsement and support from the Guild of Motoring Writers has been very well received and its alumni have found jobs in automotive journalism and PR. In 2008 one of the students on this course, Poppy Bullock, won the prestigious Phil Llewellyn prize from the Guild of Motoring Writers.
Cardiff is one of Europe's youngest capital cities. Compact, green, friendly and full of life, it provides a first class environment in which to live and study.
