His responsibilities include a wide and diverse range of clients including Corporate, Education Housing, NHS Bodies and charitable organisations.
Simon is Chief Executive of Wesley Clover Corporation, a Venture Fund specialising in seeding technology companies. The fund has created more than 80 companies and realised in excess of $12B of value to date. He has broad management experience in high-technology industries in both North America and Europe. Before joining Wesley Clover, he was co-founder, President and CEO of Ubiquity Software Corporation.
He is a Regent of Harris Manchester College at the University of Oxford, a member of the Council of Cardiff University and a visiting Professor of Entrpreurship at the University of Wales, Newport. He is a founder of the Alacrity Foundation and a serving trustee.
Formerly Chair of Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust, his experience in the Welsh NHS, began in serving on South Glamorgan in 1989 and then Bro Taf Health Authority as a member, Vice Chair and Chair for the last three years of its existence. Appointed Chair of Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust in April 2003. He was elected Chair of the NHS Wales Confederation in November 2006.
From July 2004 to December 2005, Dr. Macneil served as President and Chief Executive Officer and a director of Trikon Technologies, Inc. Dr. Macneil joined Trikon in 1996 as metallisation manager and became Vice President of Engineering in 1999, taking responsibility for product design and development.
Prior to joining Trikon, he served in various technology positions at Motorola Semiconductor Limited
David has worked for the company in a variety of roles for 21 years. Through his open management style, David has empowered staff and ensured their expertise is valued in the development of the business. Under his leadership, the division was also first to pilot a 'Gateway to Management' programme, and through his belief in nurturing and developing home grown talent he has overseen the development of over 50 managers through the programme.
Until 2011, Menna Richards was Controller, BBC Wales, a position she held for 11 years.
Previously, Menna was Managing Director of HTV Wales, a company in the United News & Media Group.
After graduating, she joined BBC Wales where she worked as a journalist on both radio and television news until 1983.
Sir Donald Walters was born in Swansea but has lived most of his life in Cardiff. He holds an LLB from London University (LSE) and is a Barrister at Law. He practiced law in Cardiff for 11 years before entering business.
He became Deputy Managing Director of Chartered Trust (a subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank) and retired in 1985. The business involved banking, instalment credit, insurance and sales broking, general insurance and life assurance, and vehicle leasing and sales.
He was a Member of Council at Cardiff University from 1988 - 2010 (and its Chairman between 1988 - 1998) and was a member of many Committees, including 10 years as Chairman for its Internal Audit Committee.
He was a member of the Welsh Development Agency from 1980 - 1993 (and Deputy Chairman from 1984 - 1993). He was a member of the Development Board for Rural Wales (1984-1999) and Chairman of Llandough Hospital Trust from 1993-1998.
He was member of the Board of the Welsh National Opera (1985-2000) and latterly Deputy Chairman.
He is a members of the South East Wales Ethics Committee of the NHS, and of the Research Ethics Committees of Cardiff Business School and the School of Healthcare Studies.
He is Director of a family investment company.
Has extensive experience as chairman, director and CEO of public and private companies. He has had significant interaction with regulators and governments in both North America and Europe in establishing and operating businesses in a highly regulated environment. He has served as a consultant to governments and agencies on strategy, organization, operational and financial risk, change management, finance and national debt management. He has founded or restructured five successful businesses over the past twenty years.
Roger Lewis is the Group Chief Executive of the Welsh Rugby Union and the Millennium Stadium, appointed in 2006.
Prior to this he was the Managing Director of ITV Wales (2004-06), Managing Director and Programme Controller of Classic FM and a Board Director of its parent company GWR plc (1998-2004), a Managing Director at EMI Records and Worldwide President of the Decca Record Company (1990-1998), Head of the BBC Radio 1 Music Department and a Producer (1985 - 1990), Producer at Capital Radio, London (1984-85) and a presenter at Radio Tees (1981 -84).
Roger studied music at the University of Nottingham, graduating in 1976 with a B.Mus (Hons). He worked as a musician between 1976 and 1980.
Over the past twenty years Roger has held a number of non-executive positions in the private, public and voluntary sectors, including that of Chair of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Chair of the Ogmore Education Centre Trust, Chair of the Music and Dance Scheme at the DFES, Chair of the BPI Classical Committee, and Chair of Arts and Business Cymru, as well as Deputy Chair of Boosey and Hawkes. He has also held a number of non-executive directorships and trusteeships, including the Barchester Group, the Beacon Fellowship, Liverpool Capital of Culture and the Wales Millennium Centre. Roger was a member of the Welsh Assembly Government's Arts Funding Review Panel in 2006.
In 2010/11 he chaired the successful cross-party Yes Campaign in the referendum in Wales which granted certain law making powers to the Welsh Assembly.
Currently he sits on the Advisory board of the D Group, and is a non-executive director of the European Rugby Cup Ltd and Celtic Rugby Ltd.
Roger holds a number of honorary degrees, including doctorates from the Universities of Nottingham and Glamorgan, honorary fellowships from Cardiff University and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and honorary membership of the Royal College of Music.
Chaired the Independent Review of the Mission and Purpose of Further Education in Wales, also known as the "Webb review", published by the Welsh Assembly Government as Promise & Performance in December 2007. He was also a member of the "Beecham" review of the machinery of government in Wales, published as Beyond Boundaries by the Welsh Assembly Government in November 2006.
He was 1st Vice-Chancellor, University of Glamorgan from 1992 to 2005 and previous to that was Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Director of the Centre for Research in Social Policy, Loughborough University.
